The founder and CEO of Virako, a valued property development company that has been operating in the city since 2000. He was one of the first people in Poland to take on the renovation of old post-industrial building complex (factory built in 1920 by Henryk Wegner), converting it into office lofts. Krzysztof Witkowski is also responsible for the development of Forum 76. Business Center, the first A-class office building in Łódź. The building was the winner of the Construction Project of the Year 2009 competition, it was also selected twice the Best Office Building in Poland in 2012 and 2014 in the Eurobuild Awards competition. The latest project by Krzysztof Witkowski includes Monopolis, a complex of former Monopol Wódczany vodka distillery complex which dates back to 1902 and is the third largest factory complex in Łódź (former factories of Karol Scheibler and Izrael Poznański). Monopolis combines diverse areas of activity in an unusual way. In addition to office facilities ensuring the highest comfort of work, there are also spaces intended for important cultural events, leisure, and relaxation which together create an inspiring and friendly place.
